DCNO Phyllis Bosque-Hamilton hangs her uniform and belt after 35 years of Nursing

The Anaesthesia Nursing Administration has organised a send-off party to celebrate and honour Deputy Chief Nursing Officer (DCNO) Phyllis Bosque-Hamilton (Anaesthesia Sub-BMC) as she bows out of active service from the nursing fraternity.
 
DCNO Phyllis hangs her uniform and belt after 35 years of dedicated and exceptional service to the hospital and patients.

Staff shared loads of commendations and praise for her hard work, passion and outstanding leadership and problem-solving qualities during her service period.

Until her retirement, the DCNO also served as a Peer Reviewer from 2020–2023, a Board Member of School of Peri Operative and Critical Care Nursing School, and a Fellow of Ghana College of Nursing and Midwifery.

The Head of the Anaesthesia Department, Dr. Andrews Kwabena Adade, said in his brief remarks, “You have completed a successful career by God’s grace. Surely, you gave off your best! And With great commitment and dedication, you cared for your patients and led the Nursing administration with skill and love. It is not easy to say goodbye to a committed manager who exhibited such devotion and passion for her work. Happy retirement!”

The Unit Heads, staff of the Department and the Hospital wished her well on her retirement journey.
