The Madina District Court has adjourned the case of the Republic and Prince Charles Dedjoe to the 4th of next month.
The Magistrate Maame Efua Tordimah, adjourned the case to enable Prosecution ample time to serve lawyers of the accused person with the statement of the deceased’s children.
Lawyer for the accused person, Charles Ameyaw holding brief for Captain Nkrabeah Effah Dateh told the court that efforts are being made to get Prosecution to serve the documents on them.
At the last court sitting, Counsel for the accused person Captain Nkrabia Effah Dateh was not happy with the Police inability to furnish him with the statement of the deceased’s children.
He told the court that he does not know what is happening with regards to the substantive case and stressed that they need the Statement to support their second bail application at the High Court.
