Coalition of Economic Associations to demonstrate against luxury vehicle tax

The Coalition of Economic Associations will tomorrow embark on a demonstration against the luxurious vehicle tax.

The Associations include, Vehicle Assets Dealers, National Concerned Spare Parts Dealers, Chamber of Petroleum Consumers, True Drivers Union, Concerned Drivers and Ghana Committed Drivers Associations.

In a statement signed by the General Secretary, Nana Yaw Owusu-Duodo, the Associations said they intend to drive their cars to the Ministry of Finance, Parliament House and to Jubilee House, in protest against the hardship that they are going through because of the tax policy.

The Associations however hope that the police will do well to protect lives and property involved in the demonstration.
