The Ghana Medical Association (GMA) has commended government for its preparatory measures towards managing a potential outbreak of Coronavirus.
Speaking on news and current affairs programme ‘Behind the News’, on GBC’S Uniiq FM, Deputy President of the Association, Dr Titus Beyuo pointed out, that this is not the time for blame game, noting that the GMA is collaborating with other state agencies to fight the virus.
Meanwhile, Government of Ghana has set aside the cedi equivalent of one hundred million dollars, to enable health authorities to intensify education and put in place, preventive measures in the wake of the global scourge of the coronavirus.
This forms part of efforts to prevent a possible outbreak of the Coronavirus in Ghana.
