President Akufo-Addo is set to address the nation tonight on measures put in place to intensify the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
The address will be telecast live on GTV and on major news networks across the country at 8pm.
As Ghana has recorded some 41 cases of the Omicron variant of COVID-19, the President is expected to throw more light on measures to curb the spread of the virus before and after the Christmas celebrations.
Government has also updated its guidelines for passenger arrivals to and departures from the Kotoka International Airport in Accra.
The update, according to the Ghana Airport Company, takes effect from Tuesday, December 14, 2021.
So far, a total of 664,810 tests have been carried out at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA). Out of this figure, 3,380 came out positive.
