The Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture Development, Mavis Hawa Koomson, has appealed to residents of coastal communities who have consumed any of the dead fish that was washed ashore over the week-end to avail themselves of medical evaluation.
This is because a joint investigation by the FDA, EPA and the Fisheries Commissioner into the cause of the mass death of fish along the coast is yet to be concluded.
She made the appeal during a tour of some affected coastal areas.
