Thirteen more persons who allegedly took part in the Democracy Hub demonstration in Accra have been arraigned before an Accra Circuit Court

The accused persons include the Convener of the group Oliver Barker-Vormawor.

The accused persons are represented by eleven lawyers including Yaw Buaben Asamoah and Dr Justice Srem Sai.

Dr Srem Sai raised preliminary concern over the lawyers inability to have conference with their clients since their arrests.

He therefore prayed the Court to stand down the case and grant them time to have conference with them to ensure that the accused persons right to fair trial is not violated.

The Judge, Kwabena Obiri Yeboah, has granted the plea of the defence and stood down the case for 30 minutes.

Oliver Barker-Vormawor is currently absent from Court.
