The General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God Church, Rev. Prof. Paul Frimpong Manso, says Ghanaians must not allow religion, ethnicity and culture to divide them.
He said citizens all over the country are one people with a common destiny. Rev. Frimpong-Manso who is also the Board Chairman of the National Commission on Small Arms and Light Weapons and the President of the Ghana Pentecostal Charismatic Council charged all to guard the peace the country currently enjoys.
Rev. Prof. Frimpong-Manso was speaking at the 10th Anniversary celebration and Chapel dedication of the Holy Ghost Temple Assemblies of God Church in Bolgatanga, in the Upper East Region.
Holy Ghost Temple Assemblies of God Church in Bolgatanga was established on 1st April, 2010 with seven members at Bukere primary school in Bolga.
As a mission minded church, the church has established four churches in the ten years of its existence.
Holy Ghost Temple Assemblies of God Church currently has a membership of over three thousand.
When it climaxed its week-long celebration of its 10th anniversary, the Head Pastor of the Church, Rev. Dominic Ziba, who is also the Upper East Regional Superintendent for the Region said apart from the church determination to win souls for Christ, his outfit has over the years asked members and all believers to be law abiding.
He said the current peace must be jealously guarded.
The General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God Church, Rev. Prof. Paul Frimpong Manso, said all must religiously adhere to the safety protocols to keep the novel coronavirus at bay.
He encouraged all Ghanaians to participate fully in the upcoming Population and housing Census.
The vision of the church is to raise Christ centred, fulfilled lives to positively affect the current and future generations for Jesus Christ.
