DVLA to introduce Policy to facilitate license acquisition by Persons With Disability

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority, DVLA is formulating a Policy to facilitate easy acquisition of license by Persons Living With Disability.

Speaking to Radio Ghana, the Deputy Director of Driver Training at the DVLA, Kafui Semevor said the DVLA’s Disability Training and Licensing Policy will among other things spell out suitable interventions to address the needs of Persons living with different forms of disability.

He stressed that the move will not in any way compromise standards for license acquisition to ensure safety on the road.
