The Ayensuano District Chief Executive, DCE, Josephine Awuku Asah has commissioned and handed over a new police post to the Asuboi community in the Ayensuano District of the Eastern region.
Mrs. Awuku Asah noted, that due to the numerous accidents that occur on the Asuboi stretch of the Accra-Kumasi highway, the provision of the police post in the area is appropriate to make policing visible to deter drivers from over-speeding on the road. This, she added, will help maintain peace, order, safety, and security at Asuboi.
The Eastern South Regional Police Commander, DCOP Felix Kwasi Cosmos noted that getting a new police post in Asuboi will help reduce criminal activities in the area. He commended the DCE, Josephine Awuku Asah for her intervention in ensuring the outfit gets new logistics to work efficiently.
The Chief of Asuboi, Nana Barima Asia Boateng commended the effort of the DCE adding that the presence of police posts in the area will help to reduce criminal activities in the area which will promote development. Nana Asia Boateng added that the presence of the police post will help attract investors to the area, adding that investors always invest in places they know their safety is secured.
