The Destitute Care Club and Mike 2 Foundation, a charitable organization as part of the Easter Festivities donated some items worth thirty-five thousand Ghana Cedis to Bless the Children International Orphanage Home at Kwahu-Nkwatia in the Kwahu East District of the Eastern Region.

The items which included assorted drinks, bottles of drinking water, cartons of milk, sugar, milo, smocks, printed materials, toiletries, clothes and sanitary pads among others sought to put smile on the faces of these children during this year’s Easter celebration.

Presenting the items to Founder of the Facility, Rev. Jeremiah Yeboah both donors encouraged management of the facility not to divert the purpose of the donation but rather use it appropriately.

This they noted will help encourage others both home and the diaspora to help the less privileged in the society.

The Founder of the Mike 2 Foundation, Michael Boateng in an interview with GBC News stressed the importance of donating to the less privilege in the society and encouraged other corporate organizations, individuals and philanthropists to also extend a helping hand to these category of people in the society.

According to him, even though this is the first time for his foundation to make such a donation in Kwahu, he commended the efforts of his members and the general public whose contribution has made it possible to put smile on the faces of these children.

The Founder of Bless the Children International Orphanage Home, Rev. Jeremiah Yeboah was grateful to both donors for their contributions towards the sustenance of the facility.

He assured them that the donations will be channeled towards its intended purpose to help make the children feel at home.
