The Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Ghana has ordained eleven new Pastors into the ministry after serving a two-year probation period. They will head district branches of the church nationwide. A former Moderator of the Church, Rt. Reverend J. Y. Ledo asked the new ministers to put the interest of the church and society first in all their endeavours.

He also encouraged them to let their deeds reflect on society by living exemplary lives. The acting Moderator of the church, Rev Lt. Col Bliss Agbeko said most of the troubles in the world today are due to failure of mankind to truly love one another. He urged Christians to develop good and healthy relationships between their neighbours irrespective of their religious beliefs.

Rev. Agbeko asked the newly ordained Pastors to be productive in society instead of engaging in activities that will bring the image of the church into disrepute.

Andrews Tsahey on behalf of the newly ordained Pastors, expressed gratitude to the Church for the opportunity and pledged to embark on missionary work with diligence.
