Moderator of the Global Evangelical Church, Rt. Rev. Prosper Samuel Dzomeku has asked Ghanaians to see Easter as a turning point of God’s greatest love for mankind.

In an Easter message, Rt. Rev. Dzomeku said they must develop a heart of forgiveness towards one another just as God freely gave Jesus Christ to die for mankind.

He said Christians must also be prepared to sacrifice their resources for the work of God, the development of the nation and to help the vulnerable.

Rt. Rev. Dzomeku described the celebration of Easter as a defining moment of salvation that Christ brought to the world two thousand years ago.

He advised Christians to remember that Jesus Christ is the reason for the celebration, saying all their actions should glorify his name.

He urged drivers to exhibit the highest sense of caution during the season to avoid the loss of lives.

He went on to  entreat  Christians to continue to soberly reflect on the essence of the season as they celebrate the crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
