A renowned media advocate, Scholar and a former Director General of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), Professor Kwame Karikari says despite the challenges facing GBC, the Corporation should improve on its performance in the regions especially the newly created regions to make information more accessible to all and promote national development.
Professor Kwame Karikari said this at a Public Lecture marking the 84th Anniversary of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation in Accra.
Dignitaries present at the occasion included the Chairman of the National Media Corporation Yaw Boadu Ayeboafo, Acting Director General Augustus Yamson, Newly appointed Director General, Prof Alhassan Anim, Board members, Directors of Radio and TV, President of the GJA and Veteran Broadcasters of the Corporation.
