“Galamsey” Operators do not think much about lives. Water is life and they can destroy it like that, asserts, discussants on the GTV Breakfast Show.
Speaking in Accra on the GTV Breakfast Show Flipped, Artistic Artist, Akosua Hanson, Musician Abiana, and Actor, Prince Amoabeng (Jeneral Ntatia) admitted that the State of Ghana’s water bodies needed much to be desired.
Bottled Water fetched from River Pra was the central point for conversation as Jeneral Ntatia got the explainer from Guest Host, Abdul Hayi Moomen.
“It’s very devastating to see what our water bodies turn into,” Abiana also lamented.
Akosua Hanson could not agree enough.
“How we treat our water tells us how we live our lives since water is life. Obviously the fetched water is an indication of how we treat our lives as if it is not worth the matter”, she said.
The historic river which has been damaged by the Galamsey Operators will not only have its water destroyed, but the rich cultural history would also be affected.
Akosua Hanson commended Kafui Dei on his commentary on the fight against galamsey and requested of all citizens to help uphold and defend Ghana against the canker.
