The Director General of Ghana Broadcasting Corporation Prof Amin Alhassan has proposed the setting up of a National Highlife Band to help revive Highlife music for the appreciation of the youth.
In view of this the State Broadcaster will continue to promote the national and cultural identity.
Prof Alhassan who launched the ‘Highlife is Alive’ Fun Club at Broadcasting House in Accra today said promoting and supporting Highlife music which is wholly Ghanaian is also one of the ways of promoting the national identity.
