The Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), will be hosting the Chief Imam Dr. Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharabutu at a symbolic Eid-ul-Fitr Prayer session on Thursday, May 13, at Broadcasting House.
The Chief Imam’s Eid prayer would be televised live on Radio, Television, and Online. Participation is strictly by invitation. All COVID-19 protocols will be observed.
Ahead of the virtual prayers, Spokesperson for the Chief Imam, Sheikh Aremeyaw Shaibu, has been speaking to GBC NEWS on what Muslims are expected to do immediately after their fast ends. Sheikh Aremeyaw Shaibu advised Muslims to be moderate in their celebrations in order not to cause harm to non-Muslims who want to witness the beauty of Islam.
