This he says is necessary if GBC must win public support and remain on top as a public service broadcaster.

Mr. Ayeboafo was speaking at GBC’s Regional Directors and Management conference for the Southern sector in Koforidua, in the Eastern Region.

The Southern sector meeting has representation from GBC stations from the Western, Central, Volta, Eastern, Tema and Greater Accra.

GBC’s Acting Eastern Regional Director, Mr. Albert Adjei Klu, said GBC must critically look at its operations and develop short, medium and long term plans, to compete favourably in the media space.

He suggested that that the corporation must court partnerships with business entities to put its landed properties to profitable use, to deter encroachers.
