The Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), has welcomed a new Director General, Professor Amin Alhassan.
The Chairperson of GBC, Rev. Prof. Adow Obeng at a welcome ceremony called on the staff and management of the GBC to cooperate and support the vision of the new Director General to enable the Corporation achieve its mandate.
He said the DG was independently appointed without bias.
He reiterated that even though DG is academically inclined with his background as a Professor from the University for Development Studies, he has done research in media communication and will need the support of all to perform his task.
The Director General, Prof. Amin Alhassan said he is ready to offer his best to improve the standard of the GBC and asked all to contribute their best in broadcasting in Ghana.
