One of the essences of TV programs is to educate and help shape individual skills, and Talking Point has delivered on that tangent according to the testament of Ghana’s Speaker of Parliament.
Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin has disclosed that he gained his early political experience on GBC’s age-long political talk show, Talking Point.
According to the speaker, most Ghanaians do watch the program because they perceive it to be highly educated people.
“As a young politician, I was always on your TV program called Talking Point. That is where I cut my teeth as a politician. I debated everyone, including the current President, ” Mr. Bagbin stated.
Mr. Bagbin made this statement during his media tour of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation as part of Parliament’s 30th anniversary celebration.
He also assured GBC of his support and called for collaboration between GBC and Parliament to discharge the public mandate.
