Ghana National Gas Company, GNGC, says it has completed maintenance works on Atuabo Gas Processing Plant. It says the maintenance activities ended in the late hours of Wednesday 5th April, 2023 ahead of the scheduled date of completion.
The Electricity Company of Ghana issued a timetable to inform customers of planned power cuts due to maintenance works which was being carried out by the Ghana National Gas Company at the Atuabo Gas Processing Plant.
The works resulted in power generation shortfall prompting a load management schedule from Thursday, 30th March to Friday 7th April 2023, between 6.00pm and 11.00pm.
A statement signed by the Head of Corporate Communications, Ghana National Gas Company, Ernest Kofi Owusu-Bempah Bonsu, expressed appreciation to the general public for their patience and cooperation during the period.
