The Ghana Police Service has agreed to send more Police Women on the next UN Peacekeeping Operations abroad.

This comes after the Police Adviser and Director, Police Division, at the UN Headquarters in New York, Commissioner Luis Carrilho, made a request to the Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP) James Oppong-Boanuh during a courtesy call in Accra.

The request for more Policewomen, according to the Commissioner, is due to their  compassionate nature and attention to details.
