Ghanaians charged to nurture trees planted on Green Ghana day to maturity

Minister of Lands and Natural Resources Samuel Abu Jinapor has charged Ghanaians who planted trees on Green Ghana day to try and nurture them to maturity.

He said planting of the tree is only 20 percent of the work done.

Speaking with journalists after he led the staff of the ministry to plant some trees at the Ministry Mr. Jinapor said the Green Ghana project has been institutionalized and government intends to plant one hundred million trees next year.

He thanked Ghanaians who showed interest and took part in the planting exercise.
