The Bishop of the Koforidua Diocese of the Anglican Church, Rt. Rev. Felix Odei Annancy has urged Ghanaians to be thankful to God for a successful 2018.
He said some countries were faced with wild devouring fires, floods, devastating earth quakes and wars but Ghana was spared any of those calamities in 2018.
He expressed the hope that the same God would show his favour on the country for Ghana to successfully go through the New Year.
This was contained in the New Year Message of the Bishop in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Koforidua.
Rt. Rev. Annancy called for an end to the corruption at high places of the various sectors of the society which is slowing down the development of the country and denying the people the opportunity to enjoy the blessings of God in their daily lives.
He called on couples to stop immoral sexual lives, which was causing the collapse of many families in the country and urged Ghanaians to trust in God to shepherd them through another successful year in 2019.
