Renowned Ghanaian media personality, Oheneyere Gifty Anti, has delved into the complexities of marriage, emphasising the significant effort required for its success.
Gifty Anti stressed that marriage demands thorough mental, emotional, and psychological readiness to navigate its inevitable challenges effectively.
She points out the critical importance of choosing a life partner carefully, considering the lifelong commitment and responsibilities involved.
During the interview, when asked to describe marriage in one word, Gifty Anti sincerely replied, “tough”.
She explained that the toughness stems from the extensive work, emotional investment, and mental agility required to sustain a healthy and fulfilling marital relationship.
Famous Gifty Anti is married to a traditional ruler, Nana Ansah Kwao IV, with whom she shares a daughter, Eniouyam.
Oheneyere Gifty Anti says marriage takes a lot of work. “It takes lots of emotions. There’s a word that comes to mind. I don’t know whether it will work, but it’s mental dexterity. You need to be mentally prepared. Emotionally, and psychologically prepared.”
