GIPC launches 17th edition of Ghana Club 100 Awards

The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), has launched the 17th edition of the Ghana Club 100 awards in Accra, with focus on how technology and innovation can be used as a platform by companies and entrepreneurs to facilitate growth and create decent jobs.
The Ghana Club 100 Awards will be held on November 23, 2018.
The Ghana Club 100 Awards, was instituted 20 years ago to honour institutions and organisations who excel in their fields of operation.
This year’s award is focused on Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Opportunities for growth and job creation.
Chief Executive of GIPC, Yoofi Grant said development in the banking sector has brought to the fore the need to take a second look at financial institutions in the Ghana Club 100.
The Manager for advisory services at EY, the ranking consultants, Daniel Ababio said the ranking would be assessed in three parts including size, growth and comfort.

The most promising company for the 16th Ghana Club 100 award winner, the Marketing manager of B-diet breakfast cereal, Mohammed Sani received a four-wheel pickup Kantanka Onantifor vehicle.
This year, GIPC would give Special Awards to outstanding business performers in the categories of corporate social responsibility and highest tax paying company.
Deadline for submission of documentation is October 26, this year (2018).
