The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) has congratulated Mr. Theophilus Yartey on his elevation to the position of Editor of Graphic at the Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL).

The congratulatory message was contained in a press release issued and signed by the association’s President, Mr. Albert Dwumfour.

“The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) has received with great joy the appointment of Mr. Theophilus Yartey as the Editor of Graphic of the Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL) and wishes to congratulate him on his elevation.

It is the hope of the GJA that Mr. Yartey’s appointment will bring a new lease of life into the management and operations of the biggest Newspaper organisation in the country.

As an executive management position of the GCGL, with oversight responsibility over all other news brands of the Group, the GJA believes Mr. Yartey will leverage on his 30 years of experience in the media to galvanise the staff to rejuvenate the Graphic brands.

This is very critical in an era where newspaper business has changed with the advent of new media and general online journalism.” Portions of the read.
