The Global Crusade with Kumuyi has been officially launched in Accra.
Special guest of honour, the Most Rev Dr Paul Kwabena Boafo, said the crusade will be held at a time when Ghana needs to hear words of comfort and experience the glorious visitation of God.
He said the Deeper Christian Life Church, organisers of the five-day event, is a church that has proven over the years that it is built on the solid word of God.
Most Rev. Dr. Paul Kwabena Boafo said the world is experiencing difficult and challenging times, and the church remains the only hope and place of refuge.
He encouraged Ghanaians to patronise the crusade since it would be a time for the revival of Christ’s body. Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, said the Church of Pentecost is happy to be associated with the global crusade with Kumuyi because the Deeper Christian Life Ministries has proven to be a God-fearing church with its leader, Pastor Dr. W.F. Kumuyi, availing himself as a true teacher and preacher of the gospel.
The National Overseer of Deeper Life Bible Church Ghana, Pastor E.K. Doudo, who officially launched the crusade, said regardless of one’s religious beliefs or social status, the GCK Ghana event is open to everyone.
He said the crusade will be an opportunity for all to experience the power of God in areas of their lives that need transformation.
There were solidarity messages from several other Christian faiths, including the Salt and Light Ministries, the Bible Society of Ghana, Lawrence Tetteh Ministries, the Scripture Union, and the Assemblies of God Ghana, among others.
The five-day crusade which will be on the theme; Glorious visitation of Christ will have a ministers conference and a youth impact academy.
