President Akufo-Addo’s intention of making Accra reignite by making it the cleanest city in Africa seems to be inforce, as some parts of the city have started undertaking clean up exercises, and structural changes.
At the Central Business District of Accra for instance, the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Henry Quartey has personally led clean up exercises and ensured the demolition ofsome structures.
GBC NEWS’ Naomi Komeh and Isaac Otoo have been speaking to some residents to seek their views on the exercise dubbed making Accra work again.
While some welcomed these developments, others questioned its sustainability as similar initiatives have folded up at the early stages.
Those were views of a section of the public on the make Accra work again agenda,embarked upon by the Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Council.
