The Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCO), is assuring customers of continuous power supply this year.
According to the Chief Executive of GRIDCO, Jonathan Amoako-Baah, measures have been put in place to resolve all challenges with transmission lines to ensure regular power supply.
Speaking with GBCNEWS in Accra, Mr. Amoako-Baah said a grant support from the French Development Agency and the European Union will help the company to address some problems with the Kumasi Bulk supply point by the middle of the 2021.
Lately, national power generation has been good, yet a number of communities are still experiencing localized faults on their transmission lines resulting in intermittent power cuts.
Mr. Amoako-Baahsaid the company’s structures and power transmission systems have been strengthened to ensure a robust transmission of power to distributors for onward supply to customers across the country.
