Heavy rains cause solar panel collapse at A&C Mall; damaging over 80 vehicles

A solar panel structure in the parking area of A&C Mall, East Legon, collapsed following heavy rains, damaging more than 80 vehicles.

In an official statement, A&C Development attributed the incident to adverse weather conditions but assured the public that immediate steps were being taken to address the situation. No injuries were reported.

“Our team, along with the relevant authorities, is on-site to manage the situation and ensure a swift resolution,” the statement read.

The management of the mall expressed regret over the unfortunate event and reassured patrons of their commitment to resolving the issue promptly.

A&C Development also apologised for any inconvenience caused and reaffirmed its dedication to visitor safety.

“Your safety remains our top priority,” the statement emphasised, adding that regular updates would be provided as efforts to address the aftermath continue.
