Henry Quartey consoles the Woyongo family

Hon. Henry Quartey, Minister for the Interior, has consoled the family of the late Hon. Mark Owen Woyongo, former Minister of the Interior whose sad event occurred on January 17, 2024, in Accra.

The Hon. Minister spoke during a call on him in his office at the Ministry by the family of the late Woyongo, led by Mr George Anuseh, to officially inform the Ministry about his death and funeral arrangements.

Hon. Henry Quartey described the late Woyongo as a politician who brought on vast knowledge to contribute to the security and intelligence of the country.

He assured the family to count on the Ministry for support in giving the late Hon. Woyongo a befitting funeral.

The leader of the delegation, on behalf of the family, thanked the Minister for the meeting and invited the Ministry to the funeral.

According to the family, pre-burial mass will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at the Christ the King Church in Accra at 9 am. Wake-keeping and vigil also will be held on Friday, April 12th, at the Woyongo Family House in Navrongo and the funeral mass on Saturday, April 13th, at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Minor Basilica, Navrongo.

He added that the Thanksgiving mass would be held on Sunday, April 14th, at the Catholic Church in Navrongo.
