The first Commissioner of the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), Justice Emile Francis Short says he prefers to hear what others have to say about him than to blow his own horn.

As he is affectionately known, Justice Emile Short said this during an interview with Thelma Tackie on GTV’s current affairs program, the Breakfast Show on Tuesday, March 14, 2023.

The former Commissioner of CHRAJ explained that honesty, contentment, integrity, and humility are cardinal principles and values that should guard every public or position of trust holders to discharge their duties judiciously.

“Honesty, contentment, integrity, and humility are the only tenets that enhance one to discharge his or her duties commendably when holding public office” he reiterated.

Justice Emile Short is, therefore, calling on the youth to inculcate these valuable values. These days, the youth are quick to make money by any means possible to this end some of the youth have resorted to satanic and occultism practices. He added.

When the host asked why he is not making his impeccable achievements known, Justice Emile Short replied in the affirmative, saying I prefer to hear what others say about me than to blow my own horn.
