The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr James Oppong-Boanuh, has placed a GH¢20,000 bounty on the head of the killers of the Member of Parliament (MP) for Mfantseman, Ekow Quansah Hayford.
The IGP yesterday (Friday October 9), dispatched homicide CID personnel to support their colleagues in the Central Region to investigate the incident.
No arrests have been made.
The MP, Ekow Quansah Hayford was shot and killed by suspected armed robbers on Friday dawn while returning from a campaign trip on the Abeadze – Dominase road in the Central Region.
