International Youth Fellowship, IYF, a worldwide non-governmental organization, is to partner the Government of Ghana through the Ministry of Education to implement a mind education programme in some selected schools in Ghana.
Speaking on the Breakfast Show on GTV November 4, 2021, the Founder and Chief Adviser of International Youth Fellowship, Reverend Dr. Ock Soo Park, said the programme seeks to offer young people the opportunity to be educated in critical and deep thinking and the need for self-control in all areas of their lives.
Reverend Dr Ock Soo Park said the Mind Education programme is a year-long project with an adopted school.
He said the programme will be evaluated at the end of its stipulated time and if successful, will be replicated in schools across the country.
Apart from the youth benefitting from the programme, Rev. Dr. Soo Pack said teachers will be recruited by the Organisation and trained in mind education in Korea.
He said the IYF will partner with the State Broadcaster—the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation to make this mission possible.
The programme is expected to run in Ghana and Kenya concurrently and later replicated in Togo and Cote d’Ivoire.
IYF was established as a worldwide youth organization and international NGO based on Christian mindset in 2001.
The aim of the organization is to raise leaders with a global insight through youth education, activities, and provide realistic solutions to problems in the global village.
