The Minister of Communication and Digitalization, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, will today be in Parliament to brief the house on disruptions to internet services and steps taken to restore them.
This has become necessary as millions of Ghanaians continue to wonder in frustration when full internet services will be restored. The National Communications Authority has said it will take not less than five weeks to fully restore internet services.
Parliament last Friday raised the issue on the floor, with Majority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin making it known on the floor of the House that the Communications Minister will appear before the House on Monday, March 18, 2024, to appraise Ghanaians on the development.
