Journalists asked to prioritise accuracy over speed

Journalists have been advised to prioritize accuracy over speed. This is important for their credibility and their media houses.

The public has also been cautioned against sharing information they are not sure of and cross check from credible sources.

A Lecturer at the Ghana Institute of Journalism of the University of Media, Arts and Communication, Stephen Tindi, gave the advice at a two-day training of Journalists on information disorders and the tools to fact check them.
