The Kwadaso Circuit Court has granted three persons who attacked firefighters at Bantama Race-course in the Ashanti Region a bail with a sum of Twenty- five thousand each, with 2 sureties.
The three, Solomon Anaba, 18years, Akongoli Adoko 18 years and Lamamia Ishmael, 21, are all labourers at Bantama.
On March 11th, the three allegedly assaulted firefighters while attending to a fire outbreak at Race Course for arriving late to the fire scene. A fireman got injured in the process.
The Court charged the three with conspiracy to commit assault on a public officer. The accused has been granted bail with a sum of Twenty- five thousand each, with 2 sureties.
They are to reappear in court on the 19th of April 2024.

At times I don’t blame the fire fighters. Some drivers refuse to grant them the right of way leading to the late response. But to attack them is a criminal act all should condemn. Thanks.
