Mahama, NAPO commiserate with Assemblies of God General Superintendent on Loss of His Mother

In a gesture of unity and support, former President John Mahama, a member of Assemblies of God Ghana, and Hon. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the New Patriotic Party’s running mate and former Minister of Energy, have visited Rev. Stephen Wengam, General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Ghana, to express their condolences following the passing of his mother, the late Mrs. Deborah Wengam.

During his visit, President Mahama extended his heartfelt sympathies to Rev. Wengam and his family, acknowledging the impact of Mrs. Wengam’s life and legacy within their community.

On a separate visit, Hon. Opoku Prempeh led a delegation, including Hon. Dokua Asiamah, Deputy Minister of Trade, and other state officials, to convey the NPP’s condolences.

Hon. Prempeh expressed their shared sorrow, offering words of encouragement to the Wengam family during this difficult time.

These visits underscore the support and solidarity across political and religious lines in Ghana, reflecting the nation’s values of respect and unity in times of grief.
