President John Mahama has nominated 71 new District Chief Executives (DCEs) to serve across the country, pending approval from local Assembly members.
The nominations were detailed in an official statement signed by the Secretary to the President, Dr. Callistus Mahama, and addressed to the Minister of Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs.
While most districts have received their nominees, the nomination for the Kpando district remains pending.
The newly nominated executives are set to play a pivotal role in local governance, pending their votes in the Assembly.
