Maintain a connection with Ghana’s unique culture – Pius Hadzide

Deputy Minister for Information, Pius Enam Hadzide has called on Ghanaians to maintain a connection with their unique culture which is a fundamental element to their progress and unity as a people.

Mr Hadzide made the appeal at the launch of the Heritage Month by GBC.

He stressed the need to make a conscious effort to celebrate what defines us as Ghanaians and a peculiar people.

He also reiterated the President’s call for Ghanaians to patronize made in Ghana goods.

Meanwhile, the Director of Corporate Affairs of the Corporation, Mamle Asare, has asked Ghanaians to identify, cherish and project the Ghanaian identity.

She said aside enjoying Ghanaian cuisines, people must also be confident to dress in traditional apparel to social events.

She said this year’s event will see every week of the month  March dedicated to a particular region and called on staff to be mindful of the region being depicted weekly to win some prizes.
