A burial service for the late Major General Francis Vib-Sanziri, has been held at the Saint Catherine Catholic Church at Burma Camp in Accra.
The solemn ceremony was attended by President Akufo-Addo, Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia as well as Former Presidents Jerry John Rawlings and John Mahama.
A delegation from the UN was also present.
Tributes described him as an International peacekeeper and a strategic military planner. A tribute by the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force, said the Major General led a distinguished peacekeeping career with multiple laudable tenures.
