Margaret Ansei, widely known as Magoo, has been named the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA).

Her appointment, effective January 27, 2025, demonstrates the government’s confidence in her ability to lead the agency in supporting small businesses across the country.

Ms. Ansei is an experienced public servant with a strong background in governance and development. She previously served as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Suhum in the Eastern Region.

As Acting CEO, she will focus on empowering micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through innovative programs, training opportunities, and financial support. These efforts aim to drive economic growth and create jobs.

The Ghana Enterprises Agency plays a crucial role in promoting and supporting MSMEs, which are the backbone of Ghana’s economy.

With her experience in local governance and community development, Margaret Ansei is well-positioned to guide the agency in achieving its mission of fostering entrepreneurship and helping small businesses thrive nationwide.
