Mawuko Afadzinu is new IPR President

The Head of Marketing and Communication at Stanbic Bank and Vice President of IPR, Mawuko Afadzinu, has been elected to lead the Institute of Public Relations Ghana, (IPRG).

At the end of counting at the IPR elections held on Friday, October 25, at Aqua Safari Resort, in Ada, Afadzinu, polled 59 votes out of 81 to carry the day.


His contender, Donald Gwira had 22 votes.

In the Vice Presidential election, Henry Nii Dottey, Secretary of Institute emerged victorious with 56 votes.

His opponent, Richard Osei-Anane had 26 votes.

The other positions went unopposed.

The election was supervised by officials from the Electoral Commission of Ghana.
