In 2015, the Central Medical Stores in Tema was gutted by fire. According to report about GH¢261 million worth of medicines and other consumables were destroyed in the inferno.
After seven years of no activity at the Central Medical Stores, GBC’s Tema Regional Correspondent, Michael Dewornu visited the site and reports that some minor works have begun at the site in a move to revive the medical store.
