A young man in his early thirties was shot by armed robbers in Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region when he was transacting business at a mobile money vendor’s shop.
The incident happened on Tuesday night at the vendors shop located at the hospital roundabout and opposite the Regional Office of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation(GBC).
According to the mobile money vendor, Issahaku Ayamba, the robber appeared from behind his shop with a gun and demanded release of his money.
The robber shot him three times but it did not penetrate.
