The Mortuary Workers Association of Ghana, MOWAG, has begun an indefinite strike Tuesday.
This was after the Ministry of Health failed to address concerns raised by MOWAG on salaries and working conditions.
General Secretary of MOWAG, Richard Jordan, told GBC’s Nathaniel Nartey that the association could not reach an agreement with the Ministry Monday.
Mr. Jordan said the Association resisted attempts by the Ministry to force it to release a statement indicating that their concerns were being addressed.
