N1 Highway to be closed to traffic Saturday, Jan. 28 and Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023 for rehabilitation

The Ministry of Roads and Highways, the Ghana Highway Authority and the Ghana Grid Company, GRIDCo are cautioning motorists using the N1 highway in Accra to drive carefully because there will be some minimum disruptions to traffic flow tomorrow, Saturday, 28th January and Sunday 5th February, 2023.

A statement from the Public Affairs Division of the Ghana Highway Authority said the affected section of the road will be the Tema-Aflao Section of the N1 Highway around the Goil Filling Station at Larkpleku near Tsopoli.

The statement added that the traffic disruption across the mentioned section of the N1 will occur between 0800HRS to 1700HRS each day with intermittent disruptions each lasting not more than 30 minutes.

It advised motorists to follow the traffic diversion signs to be placed at the various sections of the N1 Highway.

The statement apologized for the inconvenience caused and asked that any clarification be forwarded to the Corporate Communications Section of GRIDCo on 055-659-1272 and the Public Affairs Division of the Ghana Highway Authority.
