The first-ever Nations’ Builders Corps (NABCO) is holding a passing out ceremony Today, October 17, 2018.

The official ceremony which is taking place at the Blacks Star square in Accra is being witness by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his Vice Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

About 100,000 Ghanaian youth are expected to pass out for the programme.

The Nation Builders Corps which was an initiative of Akufo-Addo led administration, was launched to address the phenomenon of unemployment among young people leaving tertiary institutions.

The initiative has received a lot of criticisms, especially from some members of the opposition National Democratic Congress, (NDC), who believe the programme is a palliative which will not provide beneficiaries with careers.

Over a period of three years, the youth who will be working under The Feed Ghana, Educate Ghana, Revenue Ghana, Heal Ghana, Enterprise Ghana, Digitise Ghana and Governance Ghana modules are expected to earn a monthly income of seven hundred Ghana cedis.
