Newmont Africa (Ahafo South Mine) wins big again at 2024 Ghana Club 100 Awards

For the second consecutive year, Newmont Ghana Gold Limited (Ahafo South Mine) has claimed the top spot at the Ghana Club 100 Awards. 

The prestigious event, held on Friday, October 25, 2024, in Accra by the Ghana Investment Promotion Center (GIPC), recognises the best-performing companies in Ghana, spotlighting their commitment to corporate excellence and governance.

The mining firm’s recognition at this year’s event marks its continued success, surpassing other leading companies, including Goldfields Ghana Ltd., which placed second, and MTN Ghana, which secured third. 

Launched in 1998, the Ghana Club 100 Awards aim to promote effective governance in Ghana’s private sector, inspiring companies to expand and innovate. 

This year’s theme, “Fostering Domestic Champions: Building Local Capacity,” underscores GIPC’s vision to strengthen local business capabilities and market resilience.

The Ghana Club 100 Awards provide a valuable opportunity for businesses to showcase their milestones, strengthen industry networks, and inspire the next generation of corporate leaders.
